Outer Continental Shelf Act Claims

The Outer Continental Shelf Act, administered through the Office of Workers' Compensation Program, provides injured workers with compensation for such losses and expenses as lost wages and medical bills. It affords oil rig and other offshore workers the right to sue employers for medical expenses (both past and future), lost wages, diminished earning capacity, and pain and suffering.

In cases involving the death on an employee, surviving family members may recoup funeral expenses and will receive a regular check for half of the deceased's weekly wage. Our maritime attorneys have successfully resolved many Death on the High Seas Act and wrongful death claims.
